There is a youth symphony that is going to perform a free concert in Gold Bar on July 4th at 1pm at the Gazebo Park on 5th. Featuring live patriotic, pops, musical theatre, movie themes and great classical works. The orchestra is made up of music students selected by audition from numerous High Schools in Granite, Murray, and Jordan District.

The 2nd Annual Sultan "Swoosh" 3 on 3 Tourney is happening this coming July 21st, 2018 in downtown Sultan! Last year's tourney had over 40 teams and we are hoping to at least double that this summer! Sultan Swoosh was established as a way to build community, promote physical activity, and provide families with the opportunity to rediscover the Sultan they know and love. The event was built by volunteers and bolstered by donations from local businesses, with various service-oriented groups coming forward to help. This year we will once again be using tourney machine and our prices have stayed the lowest you will find for any 3 on 3 tourney in the area $40! This year we have decided to turn the bike decorating booth it into more of an event! We will provide bike safety with a bike rodeo, a bike exchange for those who need a larger or smaller bike or a child who can’t afford a bike, a raffle of bike items like helmets, bike bells, baskets, horns, etc., each child will receive a raffle ticket at no cost that participates on Friday and a goodie bag with some cool swag. The kids that participate will also get to ride in the big parade on Saturday this year!
