Vendor Information… Please Read!

Dear Vendor, 

Here is the Vendor application for Winterfest, which will take place on December 7, 2019 at Sultan High School. We look forward to working with you and welcoming you to the biggest craft fair in the Valley.

During Winterfest, we fill both the High School Commons and Gym with vendors. Vendors may choose either a commons or the gym location. Each location has its own personality. Most shoppers thoroughly explore the entire market. The elevator is available for handicap vendors and guests, so both floors are easily accessible. We’ve learned over the years that each location suits each vendor differently.

Upstairs: The Commons features live entertainment, but can seem crowded and noisy.           

Downstairs: The gym is quieter (but still festive) with much more space. There are activities for kids, so parents have more time to peruse merchandise. Also, there are no steps to deal with during set up.

We will accommodate location request as they are received. Booth space in the commons is very limited. Once the commons are full, all vendors will be assigned a space in the gym. Please check with the floor manager when you arrive to find out where you will be setting up shop.

** A note of interest, there doesn’t seem to any discernable difference in sales in the commons vs gym that we can tell. Personal comfort seems to be a better indicator of successful sales than the room. (Happy vendors sold the most.) **

In addition to your fee, please remember to donate one of your craft items to the VOA booth for their raffle. The money raised by this raffle supports our local resource center, which cares for our most vulnerable residents. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated.

Set up will take place on the day of the event, 8-10 a.m. Please remember to move your car to the far lot after unloading. The prime, close spots are reserved for our customers. We will have volunteer helpers to assist.It is important that each booth is ready for business by 10 am and that no booth is taken down before the event is over at 4 pm. Please do not pack up early.

Please promote Winterfest on your mailing lists, FB profile and other social media. If we all work together, this will be the biggest and best Winterfest Celebration ever.
